Niv Harizman, Managing Partner
Prior to founding Tyto Capital Partners LLC, from 2005 – 2010, Mr. Harizman was a Founding Partner of Plainfield Asset Management LLC, an SEC registered investment adviser which managed in excess of $5 Billion of equity capital. From 2000 – 2005, Niv Harizman was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse First Boston (“CSFB”) and a member of the Firm’s Investment Banking Mergers & Acquisitions Group. At CSFB, Mr. Harizman was responsible for providing investment banking services to private equity funds and hedge funds with a focus on M&A advisory and capital raisings, including high yield, bank debt, mezzanine debt, and IPOs. From 1995 to 2000, Mr. Harizman was a Managing Director in the Financial Sponsor Group of Deutsche Bank/Bankers Trust. From 1994 to 1995, Mr. Harizman was an Associate in the M&A Group of Wasserstein Perella & Co. From 1990 to 1994, Mr. Harizman was an investment analyst and derivatives trader for Henry Crown & Co., the investment holding company of the Chicago-based Crown Family. From 1989 to 1990, Mr. Harizman traded equity and index options at the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE). Prior to his professional career, from 1982 to 1986, Mr. Harizman served as a First Lieutenant in the Directorate of Military Intelligence of the Israeli Defense Forces.

Mr. Harizman previously served as a member of the Board of Directors of Psagot Investment House, the largest Asset Manager in Israel, Heliosphera S.A., a European thin film solar panel manufacturer and Asprey International, a British luxury retailer.

Mr. Harizman received a B.B.A. in 1989 from University of Texas at Austin and an M.B.A. in 1993 from University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
